Chinese New Year Volunteer

The Chinese New Year Volunteer event is one of our most beloved community celebrations of the year. Our volunteers come together to honor the rich traditions of the Lunar New Year — bringing festive energy, cultural pride, and heartfelt service to families throughout the Plano community.

Throughout the evening, volunteers help organize and run a variety of activities including traditional performances, cultural crafts, and the joyful distribution of red envelopes — a cherished symbol of good luck and prosperity in Chinese culture. It's a night filled with laughter, connection, and the spirit of giving.

Whether you're helping set up decorations, guiding guests through activities, or simply sharing a smile, every volunteer plays an important role in making this celebration meaningful. No prior experience is needed — just an open heart and a willingness to serve.

All are welcome to join us at the Church in Plano for an unforgettable evening of culture, community, and celebration. Come dressed in your festive best and help us ring in the New Year with purpose and joy!
